2K fire protection for the NAUTILAND
“The NAUTILAND isn’t just a swimming baths or a sauna. ´The NAUTILAND is your very own source of energy, right in the centre of Würzburg.” That’s the description on the website of Würzburger Versorgungs und Verkehrs GmbH, or WVV for short.
The new school, sports and recreational pool, operated by Würzburger Bäder GmbH (WBG), has kept its old name and was completely rebuilt on the existing site for 34 million Euros. The new NAUTILAND offers Würzburgers and visitors from the surrounding area a modern water landscape with a total of seven pools (three of them outdoors) and a sauna area. The big attraction is an 85-metre water slide with selectable special effects.
Protected by the HENSOTHERM® 2K fire protection system
The steel structures in the building have been upgraded to the fire resistance class up to R60 with HENSOTHERM® 910 KS the solvent-free 2K fire protection system. HENSOTHERM® 910 KS enables corrosion protection requirements up to C5 to be met.
