HENSOTHERM® M 2000 | Fireproof Mortar
The HENSOTHERM® M 2000 mortar fire penetration seal is a mixed penetration seal system made from the A1 fire protection mortar HENSOTHERM® M 2000 suitable for cable and pipe penetrations in walls and floors.
HENSOTHERM® M 2000 is used as a fire penetration seal to reinstate the fire safety performance of solid wall and floor constructions with openings for combustible and non-combustible pipes, cable trays, cables and cable bundles as well as flexible electrical installation conduits (EIC). Depending on the service type, the seal is using the HENSOTHERM® M 2000 in combination with HENSOTHERM® RM pipe collars or HENSOTHERM® 7 KS Gewebe 125 endless pipe wraps.
As a masonry mortar of mortar group MG II in accordance with DIN 1053-1, with a compressive strength class M 2.5 in accordance with DIN EN 998-2, HENSOTHERM® M 2000 is also ideally suited for the wet installation of fire dampers in solid walls and floors, as well as in drywall constructions or even timber elements, where permitted by the relevant manufacturer’s installation and operating instructions (see, for example, the installation and operating instructions for fire dampers from TROX, Wildeboer or comparable manufacturers).
