HENSOMASTIK® 5 KS Farbe

HENSOMASTIK® 5 KS Farbe is an ablative, medium-viscosity and non-hygroscopic, water-based fire-protection coating available as ‘Farbe (paint)’, ‘viskos (viscous)’, and ‘SP (Spachtel (filler))’. It is used for the construction of penetration seals S 90, EI 30 / EI 60 and EI 90 / EI 120, for the production of fire protection joints and membranes and as a fire protection coating for cables and cable trays in interior and exterior areas.

Product characteristics

• Contains no solvents, APEO, halogens, borates or plasticisers
• Water-impermeable in accordance with DIN 1048
• Oil and petrol resistant
• Weatherproof / UV resistant in accordance with DIN 53 384
• Ageing resistant, mechanically stable
• Flexible when dry even when thick layers have been applied
• Temperature resistant to -40 °C when completely dry
