HENSOTOP 2K PU – Top coat

HENSOTOP 2K PU is a solvent-based, fast drying, 2-pack top coat based on polyester for HENSOTHERM® fire protection coatings on steel members for indoor and outdoor use.

HENSOTOP 2K PU will be applied due to optical reasons and provides protection from moisture and other environmental influences.
Note: If steel surfaces are regularly exposed to intense heat/high temperatures > + 45 °C, do not use dark colours as top coating!

Product characteristics

• Solvent-based, 2-pack top coat based
• Fast drying
• VOC 318 g/l, VOC 34 g/m² at nominal stratum thickness
• Durable, mechanically resistant, high abrasion resistance
• Resistant to chemicals e.g. oils, fuels, salts dilute acids
• Colour: RAL, DB, Sikkens or samples available
• Gloss level: Silky matt (< 30 gloss units at 60°) / The gloss level varies depending on the colour shade.
• Packaging: Base 10 kg, 20 kg / hardener 1.7 kg and 13.4 kg in tin pails
