Campus for innovation and technology transfer, as well as a showcase project in terms of sustainability.

By 2027, a 70,000 square metre development and production site for 50 to 100 selected companies with 2,500 planned new jobs in nine buildings will be created on the historic Schoren site in Arlesheim near Basel.

The focus is on industrial production, healthcare, logistics and digitalisation – an international centre of excellence for Industry 4.0 with cross-sector and cross-disciplinary knowledge transfer.

HENSOTHERM® steel fire protection

In the entrance and atrium area of Building 1, the steel beams of the ceiling construction were coated with the water-based steel fire protection coating HENSOTHERM® 421 KS directly on site between January and April 2020.

HENSOMASTIK® fire penetration seals

Approximately 5,000 fire penetration seals with a fire resistance rating of EI 60 and EI 90 were installed in Building 1, mainly soft seals for cables or mixed penetrating services.
