Endless modular firestop pipe collar for single penetrations and special applications

The new HENSOTHERM® EM endless modular firestop pipe collar offers innovative fire protection solutions for single penetrations of combustible and aluminium composite pipes, electrical installation conduits (EIC), or combinations thereof, as well as pipes with combustible insulation.

The modular design combines the flexibility and simplified logistics of our endless pipe wraps made of intumescent HENSOTHERM® 7 KS Gewebe with the simple installation and robustness of HENSOTHERM® pipe collars with stainless steel housings.

Developed and tested in accordance with DIN EN 1366-3, the modular concept of the HENSOTHERM® EM offers optimum adaptability for complex installations and special solutions: OMEGA and U-applications to pipe bends, sloping pipes and pipes sockets or pipe bundles or linear arrangements in irregular shapes and zero spacing. Besides standard rigid wall and floor constructions, drywalls and construction elements made of solid wood or cross-laminated timber (CLT) are covered as well.

Endlos Rohrmanschette Brandschutz

Thanks to its pioneering design, the flexible stainless steel housing and the extra-long mounting brackets, the HENSOTHERM® EM can be easily customised – for any pipe dimension and any installation shape – while at the same time reducing and simplifying storage and logistics.

Product characteristics

  • European Technical Assessment No. 24/0975, tested in accordance with DIN EN 1366-3
  • Fire resistance up to EI 120 in walls and EI 180 in floors
  • Rigid construction walls, wooden (CLT) and drywalls ≥ 100 mm, rigid floors ≥ 150 mm, wooden (CLT) floors ≥ 120 mm
  • Applications: Combustible, non-combustible and aluminium composite pipes with/without combustible FEF-insulation ≤ B-s3,d0 according to EN 13501-1
  • Installation with concrete/steel screws, screw/steel plugs or threaded rods
  • Annular gap filled with gypsum filler or cement mortar
  • Suitable for indoor use, damp rooms and roofed outdoor areas (without driving rain!) – durability classes Y1 / Y2 / Z1 / Z2
