Fire protection pipe collars for single penetrations seals in walls and floors

The fire protection collars of system HENSOTHERM® RM 30 / RM 50 are used to form a fire penetration seal for single penetrations of combustible pipes with and without PE sound insulation as well as aluminium composite pipes at zero distance in order to restore the fire safety of classified fire-resistant (fire resistance duration 90 minutes) flexible and rigid wall and rigid floor constructions which are provided with openings for supply lines.

The fire-stop pipe collars are tested according to DIN EN 1366-3 and approved for pipe diameters up to 200 mm with general construction approval (aBG No. Z-19.53-2679). The pipe collars are mounted on both sides of a wall or the underside of floor constructions and the annular gap is sealed with concrete, cement or gypsum mortar.

Common aluminium composite pipes can be sealed as a double penetration with zero spacing, for example for the flow and return of heating installations. In addition, a HENSOTHERM® RM 50 can be mounted directly on the sockets of combustible pipes. Extra-long fixing lugs allow flexible alignment and quick installtion.

Product characteristics

  • General type approval for Germany (aBG No. Z-19.53-2679, tested according to DIN EN 1366-3)
  • Fire resistance duration 90 minutes (fire-resistant)
  • Construction elements: Flexible and rigid walls [thickness: ≥ 10 cm], rigid floors [thickness: ≥ 15 cm]
  • Applications: Combustible pipes with and without PE sound insulation, aluminium composite pipes.
  • Installation with concrete/steel screws, screw/steel anchors or threaded rods
  • Annular gap sealed with gypsum filler or cement mortar of building material class A1 according to DIN 4102
  • Suitable for indoor use, damp rooms and roofed outdoor use (without driving rain!)
