HENSOTHERM® System for Shaft Wall
Fire-sealing solutions for shaft walls in drywall and solid construction
The HENSOTHERM® System for Shaft Wall (ETA No. 20/1307) offers cost-effective and reliable fire protection solutions for the fire-stop sealing of combustible, non-combustible, and aluminium composite pipes with PE or flexible elastomeric foam (FEF) insulation, as well as flexible electrical installation conduits (EIC), in single-sided drywall constructions ≥ 90 mm clad with either at least 2 x 20 mm thick gypsum boards of type GM-F according to EN 15283-1 or 3 x 15 mm boards of type DF according to EN 520, and in solid shaft walls made of aerated concrete ≥ 70 mm.
Combustible pipes up to DN 110 mm can be sealed at pipe joints within the wall using an endless fire protection wrap made of HENSOTHERM® 7 KS Gewebe 100 endless wrapping or HENSOTHERM® RM pipe collars. The annular gap is sealed with gypsum mortar during the installation of the gypsum boards.
For multiple and combined penetrations consisting of combustible pipes, aluminium composite pipes, and electrical installation conduits (EIR), the annular gap is sealed using the intumescent fire protection filler HENSOTHERM® 7 KS viskos from a cartridge. Installation in series with zero spacing and angled penetrations is possible.
According to OIB Guideline No. 095.4-001/06-012, ventilation ducts (spiral-seam pipes) up to 160 mm in diameter can also be sealed with the intumescent fire protection closure HENSOTHERM® FLI90 and optional HENSOTHERM® KRS cold smoke barrier, or in accordance with OIB Guideline No. 095.4-001/06-008 with a HENSOTHERM® FLI-VE with a mechanical closure element.

Environment
- Construction products are free from solvents, silicones, halogens, and plasticizers
- Green Products, VOC emission class A+
- Meets the requirements of eco-bau 1 and Minergie-eco
- Free from per- and polyfluorinated chemicals (PFAS-free)
- Environmental Product Declarations (EPD) available for all construction products
Building products with EPDs support circular economy, resource conservation, and waste management. In many countries, environmental requirements for construction projects are increasingly becoming legally mandated. EPDs provide legal certainty through a standardized data basis and prepare projects for possible future legal requirements. Builders can more easily achieve sustainable building certifications such as DGNB or LEED, increasing the long-term value and attractiveness of projects.
