HENSOMASTIK® Acrylic for Single Penetrations

HENSOMASTIK® Acrylic is a ready for use flexible white acrylic sealant especially formulated to provide excellent fire resistance and acoustic performance.

HENSOMASTIK® Acrylic is supplied in liquid form in cartridges or sleeves, and used to form a fire penetration seal around metal pipes, combustible plastic pipes and electrical cables to reinstate the fire resistance performance of flexible and rigid wall and floor constructions, where they have been provided with apertures for the penetration of single or multiple services. One- and two-sided seal construction variants are possible.

For single fire penetration seals, HENSOMASTIK® Acrylic was tested in accordance with EN 1366-3 with a fire resistance class up to EI 120 (see ETA 22/0654).

Properties

  • ETA 22/0654, tested in accordance with EN 1366-3
  • Fire resistance class up to EI 120
  • Low emissions – environmental and user friendly
  • Can be over painted with most paints once fully cured
  • Use categories / durability classes Y1 / Y2 / Z1 / Z2
  • Available colours: White (RAL 9010), Grey (RAL 7035)

  • All common Flexible Elastomeric Foam (FEF) insulations ≤ B-s3,d0 according to EN 13501-1
  • One-sided seal constructions up to EI 120 in rigid walls and floors
  • Stone wool backing optional to define filling depth
  • Simple to apply with a smooth surface finish
  • High sound insulation (Rw,max = 66 dB, ISO 717-1)
  • Formula will retain elasticity over time for joint movement (max. deformation 14%, ISO 8339)
  • Also usable for fire penetration seals in linear joints and gaps

  • Construction elements: rigid and flexible walls ≥ 10 cm, rigid floors ≥ 15 cm
  • Single cables DN ≤ 80 mm, cable bundles DN ≤ 100 mm
  • Combustible pipes DN ≤ 110 mm
  • Aluminium-composite pipes DN ≤ 75 mm with stone wool or FEF-insulation
  • Metal pipes DN ≤ 219.1 mm (steel) with stone wool or FEF-insulation
  • Combustible pipe-in-pipe system DN ≤ 35 / 25 mm

  • Solvent-, silicone-, halogen- and plasticizer-free
  • Meets the requirements of eco-bau 1 and Minergie-eco
  • Emission class M1 for building materials compliant
  • Also available in 300 ml and 600 ml alu-sleeves for less waste
